I adore this restaurant! The food is incredible always, I’ve never once been disappointed, and is always of a super high quality. Huge menu to choose from also and the owners are very happy to recommend dishes to you. Speaking of the owners, they are by far some of the loveliest people I’ve encountered in the neighbourhood and always make you feel extremely welcome. The pappadams and mango chutney deserve a special mention also. My go tos are the Kali Mirch beef and Punjabi Veg Curry.. enjoy! Also it’s dog friendly, so a bonus!
Amazing service, delish food and lively atmosphere. Really good if you have allergies/intolerances as they have Gluten free, dairy free, nut free and vegan identified on the menu. I had the Bombay potatoes and the Jalfrezi chicken curry.
Latest visit: Kashmiri Pulao surprised me with its flavour. A unique blend of Coconut + nuts and raisins. Very tasty! Pour Butter chicken curry onto Butter chicken Pizza. Thats one tasty pizza that is off the charts! Gobi 65 is a lovely combination of sweet and crunchy all rolled into one. Worth trying if you have yet to. Authentic north Indian cuisine. Good balance of flavour and nothing too sweet. My favourites are the pizza and lamb biryani. Pizza is thick and fully loaded. Full of flavour, generous toppings and hits the spot everytime. Lamb biryani is tasty and balanced. Generous portions of soft tender lamb with the taste of the biryani spices. Highly recommend! The Klay Oven Restaurant has become a reliable go-to for my husband Hugh and I whenever we’re craving a really good Indian meal—and it’s never let us down. We’ve been several times, sometimes just the two of us, other times with friends, and each visit has been consistently excellent. The portions are generous, the flavours are rich and satisfying, and the staff are always warm and welcoming. They’re more than happy to guide you through the menu and offer recommendations if you’re not sure what to order (which, let’s be honest, is often the case with so many delicious options!). There’s plenty of table seating, but the word is definitely out—so if you’re planning a visit, I’d recommend making a booking. If you’re looking for a top-tier Indian restaurant in Teneriffe, look no further. The Klay Oven is a gem of a place that keeps us coming back again and again.
