Very nice first view of Kangaroo Point for me. Very nice and clean, even after the rain. Facilities were nice and clean and huzzah soap! Great city views and river views.

Lovely spot with beautiful view. The place has car park, children playground, picnic table, BBQ, public toilet. It's great place for enjoying the amazing view, walking, jogging and picnic. Well maintained and clean.

Nice park, good fishing and even a little sand beach but not recommended to swim in the Brisbane river

A stunning view of the Brisbane city as well as the story Bridge, Also, kids and dogs friendly An abundance of shaded benches and BBQ options. Kids' playground keeps kids busy as well. Limited street car park spaces (ticketed during weekdays)

I hadn’t been back to Captain Burke Park in years, so I brought Mum along for a visit. The park still has that peaceful riverside charm I remembered. Watching the ferries glide past was oddly calming. There’s a great view of the Story Bridge, especially at sunset. Mum enjoyed sitting under one of the big fig trees while I wandered a bit. It’s not too busy during weekdays, so we had a lot of space to ourselves. The playground area was lively with kids, and there were a few BBQs in use. Could use more seating near the river, though. Also, toilets were clean but basic. Not a flashy spot, but it’s a quiet corner of Brisbane that gives you a good breather from the city rush.
