Had a brilliant night, first time trying this venue continuing on from after work drinks and it did not disappoint. Priya was an excellent waitress that helped confirm our order sizings and joined in our silly banter! Highly recommend coming for good Indian fare and affordable happy hour beers!!
Best Indian meal I've had so far after nearly 20 years in Australia. We had poppadoms - huge basket to share with dips. My husband had samosas and I had a basket of perfectly cooked onion bahjees with tamarind dip - there was enough for 4 people to share! My husband had chicken korma and I had the British chicken massala with saffron rice. It was delicious and chicken pieces generous! Thank you to our wonderful host Isha - you are the best! We will come back ??
Dal makhani is a must try for anyone. Hands down, some of the best food we have had recently with great Bollywood live music ? Perfect place to visit with friends. Many thanks to Priya and Rishabh for their excellent service ?
ORDERED: ? Poppadum basket with dips ($9.99) ? Vegetable Samosa (3 piece): with tamarind chutney ($16.99) ? Kadhai chicken: delicious spinach sauce with fragrant spices ($29.99) ? British style masala curry (chicken tikka): spices blend to perfection & aromatic fragrant onion tomato base curry ($29.99) ? Palak paneer: soft paneer simmered in a garlicy spinach gravy with spices ($27.99) ? Plain steamed rice ($4.99) ? Garlic Naan ($7.99) I got a mango lassi as well, and paid $60.00 for my portion. REVIEW: ? From my friend who is intimate with Indian cuisine - she rated the curries as being tasty, well balanced and flavourful. ✨ I found the portions and sizes great to share between friends. I'm a sucker for poppadom/papadam and coming with dips made it so fun as a snack. ? With almost too much garlic naan (4 pieces per serving), we were full. We ended up bringing some naan, rice & curries back home! ? Atmosphere wise, I feel like the pink lighting detracted from the beautifully intentionally decorated bar. A homage to the last prince of Punjab and its British influence, I felt like the neon pink lighting drew attention away from the beautiful wood panelling and the plush green tones. Nonetheless, it's still a great casual environment to catch up with mates. Food was exceptionally fast too!
