Good location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The lady answered my question and gave a perfect suggestion which is Hongkong style noodles. It was very good with red wine. Spiced rice with pork was good too. My nephew just finished it in 7mins. Highly recommend. I will come back again. Very Tasty and good portions of food for the money.

Chicken satay on skewers is a must order if you don’t have a peanut allergy. Fried rice with prawns and pad see ewe were also very tasty. Mini springs were so cute you can just pop in your mouth in 1-2 bites. You can call ahead to order or in person for takeaways. We did the latter despite dinner hour, only waited 15 min. 2 thumbs up!

It was my first time ordering from Thai Container and I absolutely loved the food! Both the quantity and quality were totally worth the money. The flavors were amazing, and I’ll definitely be ordering again.

I had take-away prawn fried rice, and it was really good, quite filling, not spicy which is what my pakeha self expected. The only feedback I have is if you are getting this, consider getting side prawns, as I only got 4 prawns in my whole box, though they are quite large. On the whole, tasty! There aren't that many good Thai places in NZ, but this is one of them.

I always go for the #69 pad honey noodle with pork, medium. If you go for full spicy, just warning you it's a big jump in heat. As for the food, a nice balance of sweet and savoury. Not too much heat. Plenty of char siu pork slices. Always satisfies. Also it pays to phone or text in your order. Can be a bit of a wait otherwise. And 10% surcharge on public holidays.
