60 Horton Pl, Colombo 00700, Sri Lanka
I missed a proper western breakfast and this one was good! Not the best bun was used, but the rest was delicious. It’s really a cute hidden cafe but it’s very popular and for good reason. They have very good service and good atmosphere, their menu is quite nice too. I didn’t like the coffee though, it had a burned taste. They also gave a tiny area with local products to buy and a shelf with books to read on spot ?
We arrived at first in Colombo two weeks ago We had tasty breakfast. So today we departure to home and choose again this place. Food good (it will be better, if bread in avocado toast will be more softer) It’s good place with good food
Seed is a cute café in Colombo, Sri Lanka, surrounded by greenery and very peaceful. It has a calm and relaxing vibe — perfect for meeting a friend or working on your laptop. The staff is really friendly, the service is fast, and the place feels cozy with both indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is chill and nice. The menu has a lot of choices, both sweet and savory. We tried the iced caramel latte, Milo iced, and a croissant filled with eggs and meat — everything was tasty and well made. The only downside was the mosquitoes inside the café — they kept biting me, so we had to rush a bit and couldn’t fully relax. Also, for those three items, we spent around 20€, which is a bit expensive for the area. Still, if you’re looking for a quiet and pretty spot with good food and fast service, Seed is worth a visit — just bring some mosquito spray!
Visited on a Saturday, place was packed. Still had a couple of parking slots. Service is okay, they aren't the most helpful bunch, they get the job done. Some renovations are ongoing so it's a bit noicy. However the food is good. Tried the big breakfast, which was super good, my friend tried the Turkish eggs, which was good as well. As for drinks, we good the green juice (cold press so whatevers ok the description is exactly what you get) and the narang. Narang was fantastic. Over all good vibes, will be back again.
A great atmosphere, wonderful service and delicious food and coffee. It was very busy, but that’s because it’s good (and they’re now expanding the size of the cafe). I had the Chilli Crab Folded Egg Croissant and highly recommend it!
