The staff had what my father would call “an attitude” ha ha but the food was absolutely delicious — such a treat to eat vegan Chinese in Tokyo! Big portions, super-tasty. The atmosphere was gloriously kitsch — stained glass light fixtures & plastic booths — and, there was self-service fountain soda, which made me feel all wistful & nostalgic.
Great tasting food, American Chinese/food court style, portions are nice and big, but all of the main dishes were cold. Everything was cold except for the fried rice!? Also has a cool atmosphere. Only thing missing was the duck sauce and fortune cookies. Will definitely return if I’m in the area but really hope the food is hot next time.
I tried their kung pao chicken, honey walnut chicken, lo Mein, and egg drop soup. The highlight of the show was the honey walnut shrimp. Eating her reminded me of all the times growing up, going to the mall with my mom, and ordering Chinese food. I have been vegetarian for 7+ years now so I haven’t been able to enjoy this type of food in a long time. Unlocked some memories for me. I would 100% recommend.
American approved ? this is the best American Chinese food I’ve had anywhere! The staff was so friendly and the food was amazing. I can’t wait to come back!
