Friendly staff and good food. Changing from the low quality kebab often found in Japan. The menu includes several delicious appetizers and I strongly recommend trying out the Spinach-yogurt one in addition to traditional humus. Falafels salad is great, the dressing and veggies balancing out the unavoidable dryness of the Falafels. Recommend to book as the place is popular!

As a Turkish food lover, I invited my Japanese friends to Kebab Chef for lunch and ordered three different dishes from the menu. The food was good—not the best, but still good. However, there is a rule that you have to “order a drink” with your meal, which confused me. It felt like a table charge, similar to what some bars do. I was surprised they impose this extra charge in a restaurant during lunch. If the food were under 1,000 yen, I could understand needing to buy a drink, but the food wasn’t cheap. Because of this “forcing customers to buy something they don’t want” I’ve decided not to visit this place again.

Very delicious Turkish appetizers (mezzes) and Turkish kebabs. I recommend mixed kebab or beef kebab as main course and some mezzes like humus, falafal, eggplant. Be sure to try special dessert Kunefe.

Great food!! Everything was tasty, well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Salad was very tasty and the Adana kebab juicy and flavorful. Pistachio baklava was very good as well! Would definitely recommend.

Eaten here a dozen times over the past few years, and it never fails to hit the mark. The Efes is genuinely authentic, the kebabs are making the most of limitations of Japanese ingredients and the team do an excellent job. The Adana kebab is my favourite, and makes the mouth sing. There is also the Lamb Shish, which rocks. The meze are also very good, especially the humus, which has that graininess I have always loved about the Turkish version. Highly recommended for any lover of Turkish cuisine.
