Yoyogi Ōyama Park

Has an amazing playground and splash pool for kids. Mine are 2 and 4 years old and they didn't want to leave. There is also a pond with Turtles in it to view. It's also all shady so on a sunny day you get some relief.

Used to come here in the early morning to work out. Starting around 5 am the retired japanese ladies and gentlemen come here to socialize/do fitness or tai chi. Also has a pretty awesome jungle gym and playground for kids. There is also a soft ground running track around the whole park which I believe to be a little below 400 metres long.

The park is a short distance away from Yoyogi Uehara station, it is great for families, as kids have many options on the playground. The sakura in the park are gorgeous and it s quiet in comparison to the big ones, like Yoyogi Koen or Shinjuku gyoen. I had a lovely time with my family.

Nice park to play and do sports. It has swings, slides, and other park's toys. Close to JICA that has halal food and a praying room. Suitable for families, school activities and even a picnic under the shades of trees. Popular to kids and also school students.

Elementary school age baseball fields are the main reason for going here but there is a running loop and small playground area too.
