Old airport road, Sigiriya 21120, Sri Lanka
Our visit was truly an unforgettable experience. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making each bite a delight. The host was exceptionally nice and friendly, going out of their way to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable. We absolutely loved every moment of it. This place is a hidden gem and definitely a must-try for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. ❤️
We came for lunch at Nilu's home cooking class on 21 February, as part of the village tour in Sigirya. We were a little bit hesitant at first as the tour cost 35 dollars per person (it does include cattle cart, boat and tuk tuk rides). But boy was this worth it! Nilu cooks a fresh curry from start for you and then serves you another dozen fresh dishes with it as well as fresh fruit, straight from the garden. It is not only the best lunch we had in Sri Lanka, but one of the best food experiences I have ever had in my life (and I am a traveller and a foodie)! Nilu is beautiful, warm, charming despite the hardship she has living in a village, which includes frequent elephant attacks. She is a fantastic cook amd an even better host. A beautiful soul. Do not miss Nilu's lunch, it was worth a 1000 dollars and an unforgettable experience! Thank you Nilu with all my heart ❤️. Nadezda
This was by far the best lunch we’ve had in Sri Lanka! Nilu is an incredible cook and a hardworking woman, and her hospitality made the experience even more special. After exploring Sigiriya, this is an absolute must-visit. We had an unforgettable time!
The experience was amazing, the lady explained every step to cook a typical lunch with local ingredients, and in the end, there is lunch with a lot of dishes you can enjoy.
Lilou was very kind and good instructor. Would definately recommend this cooking class! Taste was very delightful
