1, 4th Mile Post, Sigiriya 21120, Sri Lanka
This is the best service in Sri Lanka! After we discovered this place we went there every day. It is delicious and people are so nice. Food and coffee is a MUST try. Actually this is probably the best coffee I had in Sri Lanka. Also you can see a giant squirrel and monkeys. If you have bananas you can also feed them. Next time I visit I will come back for avocado toast ?????
The absolute gem of Sigiriya! The entire experience is fantastic, the food is freshly made with locally sourced produce, the design is beautiful including all of the cups/plates, the staff is friendly and so attentive. I highly recommend visiting this place as this was one of the best cafes I have visited while traveling. You can actually feel and taste that food was made with love. They also have complimentary water, coconut ball-shaped “candies” and a healthy shot to improve digestion. The avocado toast was so good, I ended up eating it three days in a row, also the green smoothie was delicious! Loved it and will definitely come back ?❤️
Such a hidden gem!! Absolutely unreal food and the best chai ? we love that they put 50/50 of 2 different meals on each plate when you’re sharing! Something I’ve never experienced anywhere else and we loved the concept!! Complementary water is a bonus. Could sit here for hours and just watch the squirrels come for the bananas and the monkeys. Truly loved this cosy place.
A great experience! We really enjoyed our brunch here, the waiters were really kind and attentive. They serve us water immediately after sitting down without us having to ask. Food and drinks were perfect ? They also gave us a beautiful Sigiriya sticker!
Nutritious, clean and healthy menu - perfect for vegetarian, coeliac and people with allergies. We visited three times- breakfast, lunch and a takeaway for dinner! I have a range of health issues and they were amazing at adjusting my monk bowl to suit what they had on offer and what I could eat. Needless to say this was my “go to” item on the menu. Hubby had three different meals- hummus toast (the avocado in the pic is a gift from my monk bowl!), meatballs, and breakfast roti - all superb with generous servings. Chilled chai Marsala was delicious. And Americano coffee strong with a well rounded flavour. Set in a garden, it’s a great air filled open space. They have fans to try to beat the heat. There is a clean washroom and lots of magazines and books. Service was amazing. Just a delight to come here. Thank you so much ??
