Vegans in Tokyo - this is worth it! We had fried chicken style mushrooms, French toast with ice cream, and hot chocolate (it was a special holiday menu, French toast and hot chocolate may not always be available). All really delicious. My niece does not like mushrooms but she loved the fries chicken style mushrooms! I also honestly have not had something vegan that tastes like that, it really reminded me of southern style fries chicken. The staff is also very friendly and speaks English well!
The salsa chips and the shake were the highlight of my visit here. I got the bibimbap as the main and honestly it was ok compared to everything else which was incredible. The sakura shake was especially amazing, so rich! Staff is super friendly, the entire vibe is cozy. Definitely recommending fellow vegans to go here if visiting Tokyo.
Omg what a gem of a find from Google Maps!?? This Cafe had great atmosphere and service and the food was some of the best vegan food I have ever eaten from around the world! Highly recommend dinning here. Stand out food we ate was the eggplant dip, cheese platter and the tacos. My boyfriend is more a carnivore and he loved the flavours of all the food. We ended up getting more tacos they where that good. The alcoholic drinks are also divine! If I ever go back to Tokyo I will definately be dropping in!??
We had the KFC burger, the meat sushi and the burrito. In my opinion the burger was really good and my boyfriend preferred the sushi. We both agreed on the burrito! The service was great and we enjoyed sitting there!
We picked a great spot for our last dinner in Japan! Hemp Cafe Tokyo totally exceeded expectations. Be prepared that they have rules - something along the lines of you have to order a meal and drink per person - and there was a small cover charge...but included with the fee is an amuse bouche that was delicious and well-worth the charge. The salad and the bibimbap were excellent - full of flavor and would totally order them again. The Yakiniku sushi, meanwhile, is as good as we've ever had vegan sushi...and that's saying a lot because we have great vegan sushi in Miami...and everywhere we travel the "great sushi" is nothing compared to what we're used to...well Hemp Cafe's sushi is right up there with the best. The service was warm and friendly as well. Overall one of the highlights of our trip and best meals for sure.
