Escalator to the sky. Incredible spot, especially if you manage to get tickets for around sunset. The rooftop is pretty busy and there’s sometimes a line to get to certain desirable corners. You can pay to have your photo taken - but generally you’ll be able to find a spot by the window. Downstairs, there’s seating, food and alcohol (must be booked and is extra cost). You can get a decent view here too. Lockers provided and you can’t take anything bulky to the roof. If you take a camera, make sure it has a neck or shoulder strap otherwise you can’t bring it.
So difficult to book tickets for this but finally managed to get tickets for sunset. The experience was great but wrap up fairly warm because it can get cold, very picturesque up on the helipad, the views are amazing especially during sunset and at night. Its nice with children too as it's a soft surface at the top and suitable for children to run around, we all loved it and I would go there again on my next visit.
You have to buy tickets in advance (released 2 weeks ahead). The official website was annoying to use and long queue to enter the site - research ahead before trying to buy tickets - hard to find for sunset time. I used Klook because it was quicker. It was nice - cool for pictures and everyone in line to wait their turn. The bar on the roof was not open… would have been fun. You walk around a bit and that’s pretty much it. There are other nice observatories free.
This place is packed but worth it as visitors can basically view the entire city of Tokyo. I knew that Tokyo is the largest city on earth but being able to see it for myself was truly mesmerizing. It was cool and windy at the top despite it being a fairly warm afternoon. The lift even has a cool animation while going up and down but I didn't take a video of that :( Very much recommended to those who want a cool photo of the city as their background for selfies or social media posts.
Came here with group of friends to enjoy Tokyo from above and it didn't disappoint. We got the ticket in advance and got the time slot as we wanted it. We came like 15 minutes before the designated time and we went upstairs with the lift after showing our ticket. The lift ride up is interesting, with video being shown during the trip. The view from above is stunning. The Shibuya area and beyond can definitely be enjoyed from this vantage point. Sky crappers, highways, big parks and garden, clear blue sky.. you name it. There is a bar as well at the top, selling drinks and snacks for you to enjoy. It's a bit pricey but the place is special. It's accessible, as the lift is provided and there are ramps in many sections, including the toilets
