Ayam-Ya is a great halal dining experience if you're looking for something delicious and strict on Muslim food. Restaurant is located on the upper floors of Dotonbori, as most of the restaurants here along this famous street, so dont be confused looking for it. Location here is very convenient. Ramen broth is really good and delicious with a tailored level of more spiciness to suit Indonesia and Malaysia palette. Food is also quite reasonably price, not more than 2000¥, using the vending machine system. Pretty happy that this place doesn't charge astronomical prices for the halal value
Restaurant was a little hard to find initially (its on the 4th floor of a building) but lucky there was a lift. Our 1st time here and we were lucky there was no queue when we arrived ard 7pm. The place was spacious but not too cramped. We ordered our ramen through a coin vending machine, and the helpful staff quickly took and serve our orders. Taste and portion was good. Price was quite reasonable too. If only they have some rice dishes served, it will be great to have more choices.
Ayam-ya Halal Restaurant in Dotonbori can be a bit tricky to find, as it's tucked away above a bustling shopping area and isn't immediately visible. However, once you do locate it, you're rewarded with incredibly delicious halal ramen and karaage. The food is served hot and full of flavor—absolutely outstanding. The service, unfortunately, wasn't great during our visit; the staff member who served us seemed to be having a rough day. Payments aren't made at the counter—instead, there's a token machine that only accepts cash, which might be inconvenient for some. The restaurant has limited seating with only a few tables and chairs, so it might be challenging for large groups to find space. Still, the taste and quality of the food more than make up for these minor inconveniences. I’d highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. Thankful for the halal food they serve.

Great food & cozy atmosphere. The staff was friendly & could speak Bahasa & English as well. Tried the Spicy Shoyu Ramen. Place gets filled up pretty quickly if groups of people come in. Located on the 4th floor, either go up the stairs or take the lift.
