Enjoyed a good meal here with the black cod and steak as mains. Both were thoughtfully prepared with good flavour and satisfying portions. A comfortable spot for a relaxed French dining experience.

Once u enter Emir's, you will be immediately whisk away to old part of France. A bougie, old part of France. We ordered the lobster bisque. Chunks of fresh lobster. Truly a delicious soup to start off the lunch. Then we ordered the chicken milanese and the salmon. The missus devoured the salmon. My chicken was nice. But a tad dry for my liking. But all the flavors was there. Couple glasses of Blanc de Blanc. And to top it all of we ordered the orange baba. Orange cake with vanilla ice cream. Sulu served us well. She was very attentive. Overall a great experience.

Mum told me about this place so went ahead to book for lunch for the family. 3 adults. Service was very prompt with the lady server showing us to the table near the entrance. Since they were using a central aircon, if you were seated closer to the door of the entrance you might feel the cool air. Just a feedback.

We were briefed about the menu and what items were not available. Easy, took 5 minutes to browse and then the server took our orders. Since we came at 2pm, last order for lunch was 2.45pm as the restaurant closes at 3pm to get ready for dinner service.

What we ordered: Onion soup, Beef tartare, Beetroot salad, Rack of lamb, Sirloin au poivre vert, Orange baba & Apple chamomile tea (note they sell 750ml still/sparkling water, no tap water was offered).

Onion soup came piping hot so we had to wait for it to cool down. Taste was good, but lacking in depth. Cheese used was quality as it was very stretchy. Beef tartare was also great, not the best I’ve had but decent. Then came the beetroot salad, yup wonderful, good balance of flavours and nothing was overpowering. Then we had to wait for a bit for the mains to arrive. The steak came first without the frites - so we just started without it. Requested for medium rare and it was bang on. Sauce was also on point. Frites was ok quite basic, would’ve preferred a thicker cut and maybe tripled cooked in duck fat to soak up the sauce but it’s fine. Then came the rack lamb, meat was also done as requested. I think the sauce and flavours were just a tad too sweet, maybe that’s the idea but yeah not really a favourite. Then came the desserts, as someone who has had baba plenty of times, this was very disappointing… the baba was rock hard; not soft and airy as described on the menu. Vanilla ice cream, crumbs were ok. I mean I didn’t order the tiramisu because it’s a French restaurant. They had put a candle and wished my mum happy birthday as we were celebrating - that was a nice touch so i appreciated it. Overall the service staff was 5/5, food was 3/5, vibes were 3/5. I’d love to come back but it’s a tough choice when there are better French restaurants in Singapore/overseas. Total bill came to $212 for 3 pax and we left close to 3.30pm.

Just tried this newly opened restaurant and it was an absolute delight. Every dish was thoughtfully crafted, with exquisite flavors and beautifully presented plates that clearly show the care put into each creation. The menu offers a wonderful variety, making it hard to choose because everything sounds and taste exceptional  (we tried beef tartare, sirloin and cod fish). From the quality of ingredients to the balance of flavours, each bite felt refined yet comforting. The ambiance adds to the experience, making it perfect for both casual dining and special occasions (our 4th Anni)
