My previous attempt ended in disappointment as they sold out early, so I was thrilled to score the last loaf on a rainy Saturday afternoon when the bakery was less busy than usual. The loaf I got was Fig and Walnut sourdough ($14), and the aroma alone was alluring, and I had to resist the temptation to devour it on the spot! Thankfully, their lack of slicing service helped me control my urge. Upon reaching home, I toasted a slice and was blown away. The use of premium ingredients was evident. The crust was perfectly crisp, while the inside was soft and chewy with lovely tanginess. The fig and walnut bits were simply perfect. I will definitely be back but perhaps just preorder next time.

I am writing this as I'm eating the bread. Normally I can't be bothered to write such a passionate review. I'm the pickiest person I know and I'm completely blown away by the taste of the bread, this is easily the best sandwiches I've eaten in my life & it somehow reminds me of Europe and I'm not entirely sure why, but it's SO GOOD and i CANNOT stop raving about the bread. Ordered: - Beef patty melt w cheddar ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Toffee caramel danish ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Iced white ⭐️⭐️ However, it's pretty crowded (obviously) and they do have takeaways available. Anyway I would travel here just to have another of their sandwiches or pastries. I love you motherdough.

Finally a good bakery in town! Disclaimers by good I’m using the European standard of good pastries and this place could totally match the standard. The savory danish is the perfection, the flavor palate are 10/10. I mean, fresh prawn paste with Thai herbs on a puffy and not oily danish? What a beautiful creation. The sweet danish (marmalade and cream cheese) is also a good recipe but could be perfect if there’s less fillings which kind of overshadow the beautifully baked danish bread itself. I will come back again for more flavors though

Huge fan of this place for years now. They have some of THE BEST pastries in Singapore (I'm so partial to their Danish and croissants). Great sourdough too. The long queue is a testament to their popularity and quality. I love seeing a thriving local, independent business so wishing team Motherdough all the best. Will keep buying

Had a good brunch today! Their bakes is good. Their staffs are very friendly too. They have seating space at level 2 too! Worth trying!
