I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try traditional Malaysian dishes in a beautiful atmosphere. Baos of all kinds are wonderful. At the entrance you can watch them being prepared through a glass window. Family of 4 from Europe - very happy we decided to have lunch here.
Food was. They assured me ingredients used are halal. Chicken Xiaolongbao was good. Loved their fried rice. Spicy Fried Rice was good! Probably one of the best fried rice. Paired with Pu er tea - a bliss. Staff were friendly. I do recommend making reservation in advance.
Another pork-free Din Tai Fung outlet that maintains the brand’s usual good quality. Most dishes were well-prepared, but the chicken soup noodle was quite bland and lacked depth in flavor. The service was attentive and efficient, as expected from Din Tai Fung. The price is on the higher side, which is also expected.
The stunning kitchen is shown at the front to capture customers. If that was what it was for, then it worked. As soon as we were walking in the mall, we saw the restaurant, we immediately wanted to walk right in, to the smell, and look. I 100 % will recommend the chicken xiao long bao, too bad they only had chicken. As a reminder, this place at Malaysia??has mostly Muslims, so you may not find pork in your food. The food came faster than I would have expected. Love the vibes and the smell and the taste. Give them a 10/10 for taste, smell, and vibes. ????
This restaurant has several branches in Tokyo, but it also feels familiar here in Malaysia, as I often see it in shopping malls in both Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru. Their xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) are consistently juicy and delicious. The wrappers are not too thick, which makes them easy to enjoy. The shrimp wonton soup is also excellent — delicately seasoned and full of flavor. However, the noodle dishes tend to be quite bland. I had to get creative with the condiments provided on the table, such as spicy shrimp oil, soy sauce, and vinegar, to enhance the flavor. The restaurant is spacious and impeccably clean. Service is decent and matches the price range.
