I was enjoying myself in this restaurant. The foods were fabulous and delicious, especially the fried rice. That's why there were a lot of people queuing outside this restaurant. It was worth the wait. The staff were kind and nice. The service was fast too. It was my first time in this restaurant. I guarantee that I will be coming back again in the future. It was perfect to me. I love this restaurant. 10 out of 10.

Truly Malaysian cuisine - assam fish. It’s a soup based food with boneless fish and my fave veggies like tomatoes and lady finger. The serving is big, one portion can be for 2 pax. We enjoyed our lunch starting from the appetizer to the mains. Unfortunately, there’s no room for dessert anymore. Will surely dine again when in KL. Keep it up!

Just had a delightful lunch at Madam Kwan's! The Nasi Bojari was as vibrant and flavorful as ever, a real standout. The Cantonese Noodle Soup was comforting and the broth was rich. I also enjoyed the light and refreshing Ipoh Kway Teow Soup. While the Nasi Lemak with Curry Chicken was tasty, the curry could have had a bit more of a kick for my liking. The Honey Lemon Ice was the perfect sweet and tangy refreshment on a warm day. The Deep Fried Dumplings were crispy and satisfying. And of course, no Malaysian meal is complete without a perfectly pulled Teh Tarik (hot) – it was just right. Overall, a satisfying and classic Malaysian dining experience!

Madam Kwan’s is hands down one of the best places to try authentic Malaysian food in Kuala Lumpur. While it was slightly on the pricier side, the variety and quality of the dishes make it well worth the visit. We dropped by around 1.30pm on a weekend and had to wait about 10 minutes as there was a short queue — a sign of how popular the place is! Once seated, the staff quickly handed us the menu, and we placed our order via QR code. We went all in and ordered asam laksa, prawn noodles, nasi lemak, otah, rojak, chendol, teh tarik, and teh halia. Honestly, every dish hit the mark — full of flavour, rich in tradition, and clearly made with care. It was a satisfying meal from start to finish, and we left feeling full and happy. We will definitely be back next time to explore more of their menu!

The stir-fried beed noodles is phenomenal, not that greasy, full of flavour. The curry laksa on the other hand was ok. It needed a bit more punch for a laksa, it was a bit bland. Thick soup but not much laksa flavour. The service was good. They’re quick and hands-on with what we asked. The atmosphere was very crowded and overwhelming, but it’s not their fault since it was lunch time. Maybe go here when it’s not peak hours.
