Lovely food and service. The creamy spinach and mushroom pasta was delectable. Really everything was great. Looking forward to going back next time I'm in Kyoto
Stopped in to get out the rain and it was one of the best decisions of the day! I had Cafe Gallery San on my list of vegan places to try in Kyoto, so was thrilled when I came across it by chance. Food, ambience and service were amazing. Will definitely come back when next in Kyoto and will recommend to friends as a much try when they also come to visit. The hot chocolate and the “Ham” sandwich were my two stand out items and absolutely delicious. Thank you again for a lovely, cosy afternoon spent watching the rain!
We visited Cafe Gallery 燦 / 燦設計室 and absolutely loved the experience. We ordered their sandwiches, which were freshly made and delicious. For dessert, we had chocolate and banana cakes with ice cream – such a perfect combination! The atmosphere was cosy, peaceful, and beautifully designed – ideal for a relaxing break. A wonderful spot to unwind and enjoy good food. Highly recommended!
Perfect little vegan cafe in Kyoto! Really cute space inside but only about 4 tables and it does get busy around lunch time. Really friendly staff that speak great English which saves me from fumbling with the translate app. Order and pay at the counter after going over the menu. The avocado sandwich was amazing and the perfect fuel for the rest of the day. It came with a little salad before that was delicious! I also had one of the seasonal drinks of iced cocoa and it was amazing even though I felt bad at how intensive the prep was.
We loved our experience here. We ordered the avocado open sandwich and received a delicious salad to start followed by our dish, which was beautifully presented. The lady who served us was really sweet and the design of the space is lovely (particularly the toilet with a window to the garden!)
