It was a great experience being taken around the museum by a knowledgeable person. From arrival to exit the staff are all courteous and friendly. Some are super bubbly so the experience was very fun. My English group was very good. The route lasted 1 hour and we got free time after it finished so if you ever miss out on a photo or reading you can go back. Don't worry and don't rush. Just listen and learn. It was a good 1 hour spent. If you read until now you should go for it. Location was great too with shopping and food very close by and metro down the road
I saw great reviews online about the Ninja Museum and decided to give it a try — and I’m so glad I did! I booked our reservation online in the morning for an afternoon slot, which was super convenient. Our guide, Ko, was fantastic — very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. He explained everything clearly and made the experience engaging and easy to follow. The museum itself was well-organized with a good flow between sections. One of the highlights was trying on samurai armor for some memorable photo opportunities! Overall, it was a fun and educational experience that I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting — whether you're traveling with kids or elderly family members, this is something everyone can enjoy.
We had an amazing time visiting Japan for the first time, and one of the experiences that contributed to that was going to the Samurai museum. Our hilarious and informative guide, Hiro, was the best! He had amazing dry humor, he kept us all attentive and involved with the information. He was the best! If he noticed you really liked a certain room and wanted to take additional pictures he was so kind and even offered to take more pictures in that room. He was highly informative and a highlight of the museum. You can try on a traditional samurai headdress and hold a gun! At the end you can also take pictures with traditional samurai garb in front of different backdrops, I highly recommend!! We’re definitely going to go back just because of how amazing the staff is!
Get the EXPERIENCE ticket so you Can do the throwing stars! Also… try and get on Nobu the Big Dog’s tour. He mixed humor with history to keep the adults and kids engaged. This was a worth-while and informative 60 Minute tour that ended with a Samurai / Ninja dress up and throwing star Experience. You’ll love it! They take walk ins and advanced tickets. Don’t worry about it if you aren’t a planner. Just pull-up!
