We chose this accomodation due to reasonable proximity to CBD, walking distance from railway station for TranzAlpine trip -and the very good reviews on Google. It was excellent and exceeded our expectations. We had a rear ground floor accommodation- it was very quiet with double glazed windows and we heard no traffic or other noise. Room facilities were very good. The owners are great, stored our luggage after checkout while we visited CBD and provided transport to airport. Recommend.

Great accommodation, spotless room and very helpful host. The continental breakfast was great at a very reasonable add on price and it was a great help that a reasonably priced shuttle service for the train station and/or airport can be provided by the host. The room also had a comfy settee and lounge chair, many places don't. Recommended.

Four of us stayed here for two nights before heading off on our trip around the South Island. We had two separate units . Both perfect. The motel is walking distance to the railway station . A shuttle service to and from the Railway station is provided if needed. Prince ( the manager) has a great personality).

Second time staying here. The family rooms are so spacious, warm and cosy. Amazing showers, comfy beds and friendly hosts. Will definitely stay again

We stayed at Tower Junction Motor Lodge twice in March & April 2025. Cannot speak highly enough of the accommodation, cleanliness and friendliness of owner and staff. The closeness to Train Station 3mins drive away was great for earlier morning train trips. Pick up from airport and drop off at train station excellent. The availability of fuel and food within walking distance was great. Would have no hesitation in recommending this motor lodge especially if going on Trans Alpine or Coastal Train trips. Elaine & John
