Wonderfully presented dinner (by reservation) with lots of nice touches. Added bonus was an amazing vegan Diva cheese board. New owners, very accommodating

Really loved the hospitality and food at Villa 23! We were warmly welcomed and well catered too , highly recommend checking this place out it's nice to have another vegan option! One suggestion I would make is to make the Cafe fully vegan and be the 3rd fully vegan food business in Christchurch! Gluten free options available too!

It's a shame that we found out this amazing place too late (as the business is closing soon). We have an enjoyable candlelight vegan fine dining with mulled wine & plum vodka. Odita (unsure spelling) is very soft-spoken & welcoming and gives brief introduction on each plate served, foods are tasty and we are really full. Value for money for a 5 course meal. Please do visit before it closing.

Five stars for the service and hospitality ! New owner is super accommodating and making guests feel special. From the moment we walked in we got a nice and warm welcome and our table was already waiting. Place is vegan / vegetarian which is nice as it’s not very common in this city. Portions are generous, so you will not leave hungry for sure. The taste of food is average unfortunately. Vegan Salad was too sour and vegan pizza is made on ready made base with way too much vegan cheese. Tortilla was average as well. Smoothies were delicious and coffee very bitter. We were told that there are some new vegan options coming soon, so will hold off for time being and look forward to something new.

Seriously amazing. Such delicious takeaway for movie dinner nights. Many vegan and vegetarian options to suit all palates, and budgets! You have to try it for yourself, order a bit extra to take home with you for those home cooked meal flavour vibes. Only thing was I was expecting a crispy wrap but it was soft. It the pizzas and wraps were just a bit more crispy, they would be perfect.
