9-3 Kankijicho, Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto, 600-8835, Japan
The hotel was super clean, the rooms are wide which is quite unusual in big cities, the aquarium and railway museum are close. They even have a room for railway fans (train decorations) and presents for small kids that stay in the special room. Everything was perfect. I stayed two times with my kid and will definitely stay there again if I'm going to Kyoto. It's close to the station, close to the Toji temple. The breakfast was nice.
Lived it here. The beds were massive for a double room, and the toilets were very nice and clean. The onsen is quite small, but they tell you on the TV if it is busy or not, so it's easy to find a time when nobody is there to pop to the public baths if you like those. The breakfast was a good spread of food, overall. The staff were very friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything. The location is convenient with a close rail line, and Kyoto station is easily walkable, on top of convenient bus stops near by. There is also the rail museum, aquarium, and a lovely park right outside of the place. We can't believe our luck - amazing hotel.
This is my favorite place to stay in Kyoto. I've stayed here twice, and it's an excellent place for families. It's conveniently located next to a park and just one stop from Kyoto Station. Both bus and train stations are within a 5 minute walk. The buffet breakfast is great, and the facility combines modern interior with Japanese style. I would definitely choose to stay here again.
Great hotel, would definitely stay here again. Rooms: modern, clean and a great size, lovely separate bathroom with amenities. We appreciated the air con and mini fridge during our stay, as well as the ice dispenser on our floor. Location: Good, right by a train station that goes to Kyoto station, if not it’s only a 20 minute walk. There is a family mart directly under the hotel which came in use! Quiet location, the room was pretty soundproof too. Staff and amenities: The staff treated us warmly when we checked in, and had smiles whenever we saw them. There is a reassuring and hot baths in the hotel but I can’t speak to them as I didn’t use either.
This hotel was the nicest one I stayed in during my Japan trip. The rooms were large and spacious, and kept clean. The bathing area was also very nice with a large, clean tub. The only negative thing I have to say about this hotel is that the bed was super hard and hurt my hips, otherwise, everything else was top notch, including the pillows. This hotel has its own public bath, which is a plus if you are interested in that.
