We stayed at Sofia for 8 nights and enjoyed the entirety of our stay. All staff were friendly and helpful, making us feeling comfortable throughout our stay. Shalika left beautiful flowers in our room after making our beds and provided fresh water and towels. He was always there to help us with anything we needed, he is amazing! Sadesh was welcoming to us when we arrived very early in the morning and continued to assist us with whatever we needed, he was excellent, friendly and made our stay one to remember. The rooms are very modern, clean and comfortable. Staff are always available to assist you with anything you need and more than happy to help Highly recommend the Sofia hotel in Colombo!

Absolutely perfect stay! The room was spotless and beautifully furnished, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the amenities were top-notch. The location was ideal for exploring the area. We especially enjoyed the lunch everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Dining here was a real highlight. Highly recommend and will definitely return!

I had a pleasant experience enjoying high tea at this beautiful hotel. The environment was absolutely lovely, with stunning interior design that created a relaxing and elegant atmosphere. There are plenty of picture perfect spots around the hotel, making it a great place for capturing memories. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service overall was very good. The surrounding area also adds to the charm calm and peaceful. As for the food, some items were truly delicious and stood out. However, a few items could be improved in terms of quality. For instance, rolls with rice and cheese filling, and wraps filled with brinjal, didn’t quite work well in terms of taste or texture. I’d love to see a bit more focus on perfecting the food selection and quality, to match the high standards of the hotel. One more thing I noticed is the need to better manage the timing between lunch and high tea service, so it would be better if the area is cleaned and ready before the high tea guests arrive. That said, this is still one of the best hotels I’ve visited, and my comments are only meant to help elevate the experience even further. I shared these thoughts because I truly want every visit here to be perfect.

We had really good time at Sofia city hotel Colombo. The rooms are very clean and modern. We had a great view of both ocean and lotus tower. Bathroom was clean and house keeping service was excellent. The rooftop infinity pool was clean, modern and warm. Perfect to enjoy while looking at bustling Colombo and the calm sun set. Definitely will stay again and recommend

The facilities are well-maintained, and the view of the sea is absolutely beautiful – a perfect place to relax and unwind. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. Although it was a bit small, it was well-organized and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. Overall, a very good hotel that I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful stay by the sea
