This lodge can be reserved under the name of "Kitty safari" through booking.
Good: place is quiet and very clean. It is just in front of the river where one can visit. Owner are very kind and friendly. Food was delicious and very abundant. Along with Kitty they provide a nice stay for a very reasonable price

Don’t recommend to stay there. Yes the room is indeed for 2$ breakfast included but they overcharged the dinner (1500LKR for 2 persons) as well as the price of the safari as we learned later. They charged for the safari 7000LKR but u can make it much cheaper (5500LKR).

Bad place and terrible owner!
We booked in advance and arrived at the place for check in. We were asked if we pre booked a safari and we answered that we haven't yet done so. We were offered 8,000 Ruppees per person for a few hours safari (about 43 USD at the time), a price extremely higher than is quoted by all neighbouring accomodations. We told the owner that it is way above our budget, so he told us that if we don't book the safari through him we cannot stay at his place. We obviously took our bags in the middle of the afternoon when the heat was crazy and went searching another place by foot (since there are no tuktuks around because the place is stuck not on a main road).
We were so disappointed regarding the way we were treated. The owner cancelled our booking because he was afraid we will write about all of this on agoda.com, so we are publishing this here so that other travellers will be aware of this! There are plenty of other places to stay that are worth your money.

Typical honey trap. Avoid. Advertise very low prices to get you there. As soon as you are there they put the hard sell on and stand over you pressing you to book safari with them which is a massive rip off. Walked out they chased us up road demanding payment. Avoid
