Room was OK . good shower and comfy bed. enough for 2 people. However, what I didn't like was not being able to open the window ( no air was coming in), not having a closet to store our cloths (I put them on the couch next to the bed), no fridge at all (basically knew all those things before booking), and the long walk from the lift to our room. other than that, everything was great. amazing location so close to the tube, lots of shops and pubs just across the hotel, nice staff and very quiet. would definately book again. we stayed there 7 nights. Good value for money
Had a lovely time staying here for our first wedding anniversary. They put some bits in our room with a lovely message to celebrate. The tube is basically across the road, although there are 2 different entrances depending on which train line you need. Staff were friendly. We were able to check in early which was a great help, think it was a £15 fee.
It's a Premier Inn, so you know what to expect. Comfortable, clean rooms that have what you actually need. We booked this hotel months in advance at the 'standard' rate, and got a very good price in a very expensive city. It couldn't be more convenient for the tube or buses, and there's loads of good value places to eat nearby ('Spoons, Chopstix, Tortilla etc). Okay, so it's a little way from the main tourist attractions, but if you don't want to pay stupid prices, this is a great option. Reception staff were super helpful, too. Only minor downside was that we've had better breakfasts at other PIs, but that wouldn't stop us staying here again tomorrow if we got the chance.
