Outer Cir, London NW1 4RY, United Kingdom
I have been to London Zoo multiple times but this has been my best experience. They have opened up new areas in the Zoo making it bigger. The pride of Lions and the Gorillas were the highlight for me. My little boy loved the Penguins and the Reptile area. There are multiple food places, toilets and even a prayer room. Highly recommended!
The zoo is pleasant and especially suitable for children. Services are well-organized and readily available, and tickets can be purchased easily online. The zoo features a selection of large animals, although not a complete collection. It also includes dedicated sections for insects and reptiles, which adds variety to the visit. While the layout may feel slightly scattered, the overall size of the zoo is moderate, making it relatively easy to navigate. However, it lacks engaging activities, which may limit the experience for some visitors.
Decent experience went here on Saturday. Got 2 for 1 deal for the tickets all you have to do is show a train ticket you purchased to get to London that day. Overall the zoo was not busy and you could actually walk around freely without the fear of not seeing animals because of crowds. However the zoo was overall smaller then expected and got around to all the animals very quickly.
We went in at 11.30 and managed to do most of it but recommend a full day. Its alot of walking, but well worth it. The only thing that stopped the 5 stars is the number of schools was just ridiculous, and yes, I get it. Kids should experience these things, but it took the shine of it for us. Maybe do one day a week for adults only to experience the zoo in some piece and quiet. The reptile centre was a real highlight for us.
