One of the best properties we stayed at on our trip! We booked a private room with an ensuite shower for four nights and loved it. It offered hotel-level comfort and privacy, with a few thoughtful extras that made a big difference. The room was small, as expected in Japan, but smartly designed—our luggage fit neatly under the bed, and charging ports were right where we needed them. It felt surprisingly spacious and functional. Checkout was smooth. Soap, shampoo, conditioner, towels, and a hairdryer were included. Toothbrushes are available for a small fee, so bring your own if you prefer. The staff were lovely—we borrowed an iron and umbrella during our stay. Special shoutout to whoever curated the Google Maps food guide; we tried three spots and loved them all. The only drawback is that it’s about a 10-minute walk to the nearest metro. Not ideal if you’re in a hurry, but we knew that beforehand and would definitely stay here again. If you’re antique shopping for ceramics this is the perfect area to be in though and it’s a short walk to the bustling Teramachi arcade.
Really great location for starters. Was super easy to walk to all of the things we wanted to do. Room was pretty small but didn’t spend much time in there as we were out exploring. The rooftop was such a good place to relax in the sun, and the kitchen and facilities in the west wing were the best I have seen in ANY hostel ever. Definitely worth the stay.
Great hostel. Facility was nice and clean, and the room was good. We had 4 beds in ours, in a unique style of double bunk I've not seen before and very much appreciate. Each bed had curtains, and its own light and charge port. It was quite private if you wanted it to be. For the price it was very worthwhile.
I stayed in a private room for me and my friend, however we were a group of 8 in total so we had 4x twin rooms with shared bathrooms. The facilities were amazing, we had a well stocked kitchen, library area, chill out zone, even a pamper room. The communal showers and toilets were super clean. There was even a rooftop bar for our use. The rooms were super spacious and clean, our bunk bed was a large single. They provided us with towels and had other amenities free of charge that we could use like an iron. The hostel reception organised for my bag to be shipped to my next destination on my Japan travels. Overall I couldn’t this place enough- not only is it super affordable but also extremely clean, spacious, modern and the friendliest staff! Thank you so much for the comfortable stay
Booked this last minute, got the family room with the 4 bunk beds. I was very happy on the location, how clean everything was and how nice everyone was. Felt like a luxury hotel definitely this place is ran correctly. I highly recommend this place, would stay here again. Walking distance to everything and the hostel has many amenities for both solo travelers and families.
