What an amazing hostel. Lovely host. I stayed here 4 nights in the dormitory. For the Christmas eve she had prepared a nice little free buffet and wine for all the guests. We had a lot of fun. Beds were good size with enough room to stow away things. Very good and safe location.I will definitely recommend this place for anyone who is backpacking. They also have rooms which looked really nice.

I had an amazing 4-day stay at this hostel and absolutely loved it! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful—especially Daniel, who went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. The place had such a cozy vibe that it felt like home. The location is another big plus—right on Armenian Street, so everything is easily walkable. Whether it's cafes, street art, or local attractions, you're just steps away from it all. And to top it off, I even got a free coffee! I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great stay!

I had a great stay at Milan Backpackers Hostel, located just a short walk from the vibrant Armenian Street. The place has a zen and cozy vibe, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. It’s very clean, with great facilities like a laundry room and an in-house café. The service was excellent, and the receptionist was super friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Highly recommended for travelers looking for comfort and convenience in Penang!

I have stayed in several hostels across Penang, but Hostel Millan truly stands out from the rest. The atmosphere is calm, quiet, and ideal for anyone looking to unwind or stay productive. Unlike many hostels, it is never overcrowded, which means you will always find a comfortable spot to work or relax in peace. What really elevates the experience is the staff , especially Aliya and Reni, who are incredibly warm, helpful, and professional. Their kindness makes you feel genuinely welcome and well taken care of. Whether you're a digital nomad, a solo traveler, or just passing through, Hostel Millan strikes the perfect balance between comfort, calm, and community. Without a doubt, it is the best hostel in George Town. Highly recommended!

Great location, 10-minutewalk from the ferry. Staff was really helpful regarding my request for storage luggage after check-out and retrieving them after their business hours. Responsive by WhatsApp too. Very clean and cozy, spacious room complete with big cabinet to put suitcase and my things, hooks installed on cabinet edges to hook bags and clothes, fans to stay cool, racks for clothes, rubbish bin at door. All my room mates are quiet and clean. Bunk bed has super clean sheets,blanket, mini fan, magnet-door shelf, electric socket with both the plug outlet and usb outlet. You can lock your belongings in drawers under the bed. After the entrance cafe, guest is to take shoes off and the entire area is a quiet zone, which all guests respected. Back of the ground floor was shower rooms, bathroom, pantry, water dispenser, hairdryer, table All common areas are always clean.
