Came in on a rainy day, we were warmly welcomed. There is an entrance fee of 10mr. Since we were not familiar with the history of Sun Yat Sen, Moon offered to give us a brief tour, it was very informative and so nice of her! Moon went through the entire exhibition explaining and translating important facts. Very nice museum and attentive staff! Definitely recommend ⭐️
Very nice museum, learned a lot from my visit. Admission price was worth it to me. The in house guide spent a few minutes providing me with an overview. A nice combination of history, architecture, art, and culture, viewing a typical old Penang building. Nice furniture and artifacts. No restroom. Easy to visit in 30 to 60 minutes. Some information available in English.
The museum was lovely, even though only the first floor was open. It was still very much worth the visit. Aunty Irene welcomed us warmly and shared the history of Sun Yat Sen with such passion and enthusiasm, it really made the experience special. She even offered us a cup of coffee at the end, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a great way to spend part of the day in Penang.
For history lover, this is a good stop to see the place and the surroundings. Not too much new info you get other than what's already well known or published in various history books and records. Small house, only ground floor is opened for public.
