We loved this hotel. Clean, great location right by stores (Donki) and restaurants as well as being very close to public transportation. The staff were incredibly patient and helpful even if there was a language barrier and attempted to assist us as best as they could through the many bumps that came up in our vacation. The room was spacious, the bathroom was the best we have had in our Japan trip, and as we were traveling with our kids, we were able to get adjoining rooms which was very nice. Definitely bookmarked this place for our next trip to Kyoto.

I can’t really fault this hotel at all. We booked 2 rooms for our family of 5 and they arranged for the rooms to be directly across from eachother , which was amazing. Location is perfect, right in the middle of all the action, plenty of shopping and dinning options. Breakfast was good, enough choice of western and traditional foods- I wouldn’t hesitate booking this hotel again.

The hotel was walking distance from the station and on one of the busiest streets of Kyoto. Although it’s on the busiest street, the room was super quiet and offered us amazing sleep. The service was amazing and the staff were so nice and accommodating. They offered to do extra paperwork for us while other hotel staff would normally not do. The room was perfect and cozy and the bathtub was a good size— couldn’t ask for a better stay.

Location is superb. Rooms are a decent size. Showers are super weird and I still cant figure I out how to shower properly. Its nice to have the separate toilet, but there is no exhaust fan. So the toilet will smell for a while after use. Buffet breakfast is really great, heaps of vegetarian options. I wish they had more though. Overall a cracking hotel which I would definitely stay in again, if I ever figure out how to shower ?

Hotel close to everything, ideal for exploring the city. The rooms are clean and comfortable. A big thank you to the staff, who speak excellent English and were incredibly helpful when I had to see a doctor due to an allergy. Their kindness and efficiency literally saved my stay in Japan. I recommend this hotel without hesitation.
