Close to the main station. There is a Lawson convenience store just around the corner and many vending machines in the neighborhood as well. The room is cozy and the shower and bathroom are all very clean and well-equipped. A typical Japanese-styled hotel with a reasonable price.

I recently stayed at the Grand Base Okayama Ekimae hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the ease and convenience of my stay. Although there were no staff interactions or front desk check-ins, everything was seamlessly arranged prior to my arrival and access to my room was straightforward. The room itself was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. I particularly appreciated the convenient location of the hotel, which made it easy to explore the local area and take advantage of the nearby transportation options. Overall, my experience at the hotel was excellent, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free and enjoyable stay in Okayama.

Good reasonable price accommodation in the centre of Okayama. Convenient for the station, shopping and restaurants. Rooms are fairly spacious for Japan and equipped with basics to cook. The hotel is not staffed and there is no restaurant, fitness or other amenities on site. Access and check in are all by pre-advised code but you can access the wi-fi before checking in if needed to pull up email.
