1 Chome-3-3 Nodayacho, Kita Ward, Okayama, 700-0815, Japan
Interior is so spacious and nice. Really pretty decorations. Tables are large and comfortable. English menu available. The guy who runs the front of the store speaks great English ?? Very understanding of allergies and dietary restrictions. I have a terrible cashew dairy allergy and had absolutely no issue here. The waiter double checked everything with me and was so accommodating. Helped me order something delicious and safe! Portion sizes good with a lot of rice and some little side dishes too. This is the best food I have had in Japan in a long time. So flavorful and everything worked together very well. If you are transferring from the shinkansen at Okayama and have some time I'd definitely come here for lunch or dinner. Super close to the station and well worth it!!
Had the Dal, Sambar and Rasam, all equally good. Came with an extra bowl of rice and even a special tea with milk and ginger on the house. 7! Vegetarian options on the English! menu. I was very hungry, but these guys saved my day. Very friendly staff. Close to the station and hotels. Guys, go here for good vegetarian food.
We came from Fukuoka and it's really hard to find halal food there. Once we arrived in Okayama and heard about this place we straight away came for dinner. Boy were we glad to find familiar Indian food here. We had the rice platter with different types of curry, chicken briyani even the chapati. Everything was delicious especially the rasam. Worth coming back for. Great service and friendly too ?
Very tasty Indian where you can choose 1, 2 or 3 curries with rice, salad, chutney on each plate. The chicken was excellent, but smaller portion. If you’re hungry, order 2 curries. Samosas were very good
Really tasty Indian cuisine! Lots of veggie options, and non veggie too. We both had the 2 curry and chapati set. Includes two curries (obviously) out of a selection of around 10 options, rice, a bit of salad, some chili paste, and a coconut milk, cracked wheat, tumeric thing (really tasty). The staff was super nice. Water is self serve, and cash only. Give it a try!
