We had a car so was set in a quiet location away from the main roads. Owners were so responsive and helpful as we had a last minute booking here due to a poor choice of original accommodation. Straight away WhatsApp me a short video of the room and price. We came straight away and had a look around. The owner was so helpful and made sure the room was clean for when we finally arrived. For a family of 4 we stayed in Suria right by the gates, not sure what other people have seen in this but it was perfect for us. The aircon is so cold plus fans worked so well. Room was freezing in the morning! Little place to sit out whilst the kids slept at night. Helpful to have a fridge in the main area that you can help yourself to that stocked sprite, beer etc. Just write it down and pay at the end. The pool was always free, no big queuing for sunbeds and was always clean and tidy. One last thing please take them up on the offer of dinner, we had it on our last night (please note this was on eid mubarak so really thankful as we know it's a special time) and was so worth it. The seabass on the set menu for 2 was divine plus the kids even had brownies for dessert! Thanks for letting us stay in your home and for the gifts when we left. If we ever return we will stay at Fox Hill.

If what you need is a place with natural beauty, silence, lush greenery and sincere hospitality, this is the place. We stayed at ‘the Alphah Villa’ which was spacious, clean and very nicely decorated. The villas are mostly build of wood and decorated as traditional Malai houses. A microwave oven, a fridge and a water heater was available in our villa. The host, Mr. Ezani is an attentive and reliable person who really cares about his guest’s needs. He welcomed us warmly each day and asked if we needed anything. He even hopped on his scooter to reach our taxi after we departed the hotel because my brother had forgotten his charging cable in his room. Hotel is perfectly located in the middle of the island; 15- 20 minutes drive to everywhere; Pentai Cenang, airport or the old town. Grab cars are available in minutes around the hotel with really good prices (Just download and configure the app before you go). We had breakfast at the hotel which was quite adequate. Since it’s located near a forest, you should expect to see small insects, mosquitoes or geckos, which didn’t bother us at all. There are also some very very cute cats around which we loved (as typical Istanbulites who are in love with cats) We also liked the pool and pool area a lot. Wi-Fi connection was fast and reliable. We will definitely be back.

very friendly owners, excellent food, super breakfast, clean, beautiful property, strategic location for trips around the island. The owners have motorbikes and a car that you can rent at a fair price.

This was by far our favorite place in Malaysia. Super friendly owners, great food, car rental and comfortable cabins. Surrounded by beautiful nature and close to everything on the island.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely place. Its peaceful, surrounded by hills, trees and tropical birds. The cabins are traditional wood, with good wifi and AC. The beds are comfy, although the pillows are too thick and hard for my neck. Breakfast is good, with fresh fruit juice, and the swimming pool is sparkling clean & refreshing. If you don't have a car, you'll have to wait about 20 minutes for a Grab. Highly recommend if you want a place to rest and relax.
