This place had been here since I can remember,the food ,cleanliness is still the same in a good condition. They even added some roti bakar,roti John and roti canai stall for brunch time.vast selections of Malay cooking such as masak asam,masak tempe sambal,sambal petai,all kinds of lauk-pauk.Their specialty is off course the kerabu beronok ,which is popular dish in langkawi.Selections of Ikan bakar and choices of dipping sambal belacan and ulam are neatly arranged for the convinience of customers here.Only outdoor seatings,good for big family and groups too. Close every Wednesdays. Friendly owners and staffs. Cheap price.

Kedah Malay food, home cooking style, kampung ambience, very tasty, the staff were very friendly and accommodating in explaining some of the dishes we asked, Kerabu beronok and sup gamat is a must try! Price is on high side but we don’t mind as we enjoyed the meal

What an amazing find! Not terribly promising looking in from the outside, but the food, my goodness, the food is amazing!! Fatima and her sister provide a huge selection of local Malay dishes (I'm presuming Halal as they're both Muslim) set out buffet style. Several fish, chicken, and vegetable dishes, a selection of curry sauces, and fruit desert options. At the time of writing lunch for four of us,including drinks and second helpings, cost less than MYR80. Place packed with locals, so clearly an appealing place. Highly recommended, not least as it's a delicious taste of true Malaysian food.

It doesn’t look like much from the outside—just another modest local warung, tucked away off a road in Langkawi. But walk in, and you'll be eating your way through generations of Kedahan culinary DNA. It’s a self-serve nasi campur setup—meaning you load your plate from a spread of over thirty dishes, point at what you want, and pay based on how much you’ve stacked. You’ll find the usual suspects: ulam, sambal, fish head curry. But it’s the kerabu bronok—a local sea cucumber salad—that gets all the love. Fresh and borderline exotic, though admittedly, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. For some, it sends them straight to the clinic. They also serve harder-to-find items like masak asam batang keladi, sambal bacang, and beef lung. Everything is prepared in a home-cooked, kampung style, with no MSG. Prices are generally reasonable, though some feel they’re on the higher side compared to other local spots—especially if you go heavy on seafood or take larger portions. Expect to pay more if you really pile up your plate. The staff are friendly and warm. You’re treated like someone’s cousin popping by for lunch, not just another customer. Don’t be afraid to ask questions—especially if you’re a tourist trying to figure out what you’ve just scooped onto your rice. Just show up early. By 1pm, the good stuff might already be gone.
