Overall a good place to stay while visiting Cijin. Location could not be better-- just a short walk from the ferry harbor and directly across from Cijin Sunset Beach Bar. The good: great location, great AC and awesome shower. Could be improved: breakfast buffet is meh, the beds are a bit wonky, and when we booked, it said "room with balcony" but none of the rooms have balconies. The bathroom design is also a little odd, but the toiletries and shower are clean and modern. Decent value for the money; I wish the upstairs bar had been open, and it would be great if they sold more concessions or snacks at the front desk (they sell ice-cream!)

Cijin island 旗津島 is a beautiful island with white sand has a great hiking trail. This hotel serves the best breakfast we have ever had so far in our Taiwan trip.

Every room's a winner with these remarkable ocean views. I love to watch the container ships come and go. If the only thing I can say that's bad is that the carpet is worn out, that's saying a lot. Make sure you check the ferry departure cut-off times or you'll run up a hefty Uber bill getting back from attractions.

May 2025 stay again: - all same as previous - breakfast was decent ========== Best hotel on the little island (and only one!). Did a “staycation”. Great location. Great ocean view from 3rd floor which allows you to see over the trees in the park across the street. Service was good. Our room on 3rd floor faced ocean with nice view. Service was pretty good. Easy checkin and checkout. Breakfast was good but not much western selection- bread, croissants, coffee. Also got a plate of western/Chinese with eggs, sausage, some fruit. All you can eat. Lunch and dinner are closed. Note: flower bush and sunset were down the island a little ways.
