If you come to Yong Kang for the famous beef noodle, you must stop by this park. You can buy snacks from nearby shops and eat in the park, enjoy the breeze, and people watch. Once you are done, you can stroll around small alleys, there are plenty of shops selling souvenirs and whatnot. Or if you prefer cafes, there are few cafes that you can patronise.

Funky park. The surroundings are serene and clean. Upon exiting from the subway, you’ll see Taipei 101 from a distance. I was able to get a taste of the Taiwanese pancake (?) that always has a long queue but the queue moves fast. I got the one with all the toppings for $80. It’s delicious! Worth a try. Great spot to rest in the shade while shopping in Dongmen! Has a public restroom and lots of place to sit.

Nice spot for a morning walk. Easy walking any fitness level.

A small little park where u can sit and rest and be under the shade. There are performances at times, and there happened to be a guy singing & basking. His songs were pretty nice, and I tipped him.
