No. 167號, Jinhua St, Da’an District, Taipei City, Taiwan 106
An old jail turned into a tourist spot with a few Japanese restaurants around the area. Kimono photo service is also offered. Beautiful old Japanese style buildings can be seen too. A small area with some historic background of the Japanese jail can be seen in one of the room.
Walking the streets of Taipei when we came across this street. Never knew they had something like this here in Taipei. It’s a whole street that has olden day Japanese buildings converted into bars, shops and restaurants. Steep pricing for the bars, but the atmosphere and setting was very cool!
What a cool area with shops, bars and restaurants to check out. I really liked the architecture and history of the location. The area is lined with pretty trees and street vendors selling pretty handmade crafts. I think it’s worth visiting if you’re in the area and stopping in some of the shops.
It was a nice place to chill out and capture photos, there are nice decor cafes and restaurants in Japanese style. My bad I didn't fully understand about the place's history. Beautiful place to drop by.
Shops and eateries in old architectural buildings. Great to have a look around and take pictures.
