I kinda had a little bit of hope for it to be more than just a place for kids, but as you can read in other comments - it is mainly created to educate kids on a very basic level. But still is a rather unusual experience, which is also fee of charge. There’s show, but at the day I was visiting it wasn’t available. Probably this part is more fun.
An interesting exhibit especially during hot afternoon but the last exhibit is at 2 pm! For those of you who want to try the theatre experience, please arrive early. Also the space pod is super popular; please book in advance, we missed both!
It's not very big, but it's enough to help children learn some astronomy. The minimum height requirement for riding the SpacePod is 120 cm. It's quite cold inside due to the air conditioning, so remember to bring a jacket if you're sensitive to the cold. Entry is free, but there are extra charges for some of the facilities.
Never knew there is a planetarium museum in Malaysia. It’s located nearby museum negara. Simply take MRT to station museum negara, go through the museum negara, cross the linked bridge, take up some stairs then there is the destination. The entrance fee is free, but there are some other activity needs ticket to experience it. Love this place, there are even some replica of the planetary observatory.
