2, Lbh Armenian, George Town, 10300 George Town, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia
One of the numerous street art locations in the town is surrounded by various souvenir shops. What I love about Penang is that the airport provides many guide papers for tourists, allowing us to explore according to our preferences. I recommend visiting early in the morning or in the evening, but not at night.
One of the most iconic, well known and photographed murals along with the Man on a Motorcycle. Always attracts a big crowd and as such you have to wait your turn to get your ideal photograph.
We walked on the street of many shops and tried to find the wall art. It then suddenly started pouring with rain so we nearly missed the art. We only found the "boy on the chair" and bit away from here and the bike one. It would be great to walk around when you have time to see others. Great area!
This street art is very popular among travelers, people come from all over the world to see it...they're many more street arts along the streets of George Town, Penang, but this one seems to be very marketable too, as it's also on a lot of merchandise and souvenirs. Depend on time of day, if you happen to be here expect a line of tourists trying to capture the famous art...there's a few cafe's and lots of shops selling everything from clothes to jewelry to souvenirs, a few seating spots on the sidewalks as well.
