Beach St, Georgetown, 10300 George Town, Penang, Malaysia
Registered participants were here today to collect their t-shirt for Love Penang Run tomorrow ( 14/8/22 ). I queued for about 45 minutes to get mines.
Located right in the heart of George Town, between Bishop and Church Street. The historical building named after the original occupant that had been built sine the early 90s. A colonial architecture building was painted with artistic design inside and occupied with cafes, shops, restaurants. The place also held many events in the chillout space during the weekends. That will spice up your Penang travel itinerary
Recently visited the beautiful ? spot oh hotspot city centre in Georgetown area . The most beautiful and aesthetic elegance and vintage style of architecture looks so nice . Huge and spacious area. Which connects with many commercials aspect nearby this place . Having convenience store happy mart and coffee ☕ shop is situated in this spot . And also the best photoshoot location it is .
This building is where Penang Tourist Information Centre is. Although it is an old building but it has a lift installed in the middle. So, if you are coming to the tourist office just walk around or ask around to take the lift if you do not want to climb the stairs. The toilet in this building is also clean because there are not many people around. It also has a small stoned garden in the middle, I was there to eat my Nasi Lemak Ali that I bought in the hawker centre across the street. Overall, I am quite happy this building is around although I just used the free services here.
This building got its name from the original occupants the Whiteways and Laidlaw General store. Constructed in the early 1900s it is situated on Beach st. Now houses a lot of different retail outlets and the Tourist office. Nice to see it well maintained.
