41 Naksan-gil, Jongno District, Seoul, South Korea
A good hike from Dongdaemun! All the way to Daehangno! Beautiful scene with coffee shops at few scenery spots! And once you get to Daehangno, EAT!
Lovely spot with great views! Naksan Park is perfect for a peaceful walk, especially around sunset. The city views are amazing and the old fortress wall gives it a special charm. Not too crowded either – just the right vibe. Follow me on insta @roxana.iamandi.❤️
Not an easy climb but it's worth it!! I actually started from the 2nd observation square then walked my way down...great view of the city during sunset and into the night. So many different trails to walk around. There were a few resident cats in the area. Some cute cafes and restaurants on the way down to the city. And some provide outdoor seatings for you to enjoy the view.
As a resident of the neighborhood, I come here to run, to think, spending time with my loved ones, or just to breathe. Beautiful in every season, Naksan is truly one of Seoul's best assets. Start from Marronnier Park on the Hyehwa station side, climb up past the buzz of Seoul's theater district Daehak-ro, then follow the old city walls. From the top, you’ll see Bugaksan, Inwangsan, and Namsan all watching over the city. Walk down through quiet Ihwa-dong, and end at Heunginjimun — sit on the ledge and let the view carry you.
Climbing to Naksan can be quite a challenge for the senior but this place is a must visit. Its a great workout and the fresh air is very rewarding. Lovely cherry blossom trees and great view of seoul.
