1 Daehak-ro 8-gil, Jongno District, Seoul, South Korea
What a lovely place this is. It has a vibrant atmosphere and the energy from the youths here is amazing like those in Taiwan and Japan. Lots of people gather here to listen to music, have patbingsoo or shop. It’s worth a visit.
Often go there to walk my dog! On Sundays there is sometimes some markets or some performances! Quite crowded during the weekend since it’s near all the theaters!
I haven’t been here in the daytime yet but I definitely recommend coming in the evening. I went there at around 8:30-9:00 pm and was pleasantly surprised by the sound of a piano. My husband and I ended up sitting nearby alongside other couples, listening to someone play the piano in the dark, enjoying the calm atmosphere.
Sweet spot to stop for a rest/eat your take out lunch. We were really lucky to catch a free show, lively jazz music. Lovely!
This park is really beautiful in autumn with its ginkgo trees. I’ve visited three times, but my favorite season to come here is autumn. Just get out of exit 2 and walk straight, and it’ll be on your left side.
