First time visiting zo with my family. This was a post renovated zoo and it looks very new. Need to climb stairs for some exhibits therefore not stroller friendly. Relatively small compared to Singapore Zoo. For foreigners is RM 30 - no senior and child pricing for Age 4 + and above. You can see Sun Bear, elephant, tiger, tapir, pythons, king Cobra, parrots, pheasant, Pcock, mandrill, gibbon, some chimps, goat, deer, cow, camel, tortoise, crocodile, flamingo, ducks and etc. Overall experience: once u complete the walk through. You are tough as you have battled through the HOT weather. Reward yourself or your loved one to chill and relax at the Aircon rest room near the new playground. Hope the zoo can improve the following. 1. Painted area for stroller parking. 2. Have an enclosure for animals that need cold weather so that visitors can have more air-cond area to rest 3. Ban smoking for park wide. I saw someone smoking in the park Near the crocodile area. 4. Rest area with fans will be nice. 5. For online tickets, it will be nice to have English language

This place is worth to visit while vacation at JB. Located at heart of city this zoo had nice scenery and got many animals to see like Tiger, Lion, Elephants and many more. The entrance price very cheap compare another zoo just RM 10 for Malaysian citizens. This place not so big just nice can take around 1 hours to finished. I'm amazed that the animals in this zoo very healthy like people said that animal is well care by the staff. Got surau, toilets and small kids playing parks. You can park at beside the road for free and just walking to the entrance despite lack of parking space. Overall my kids enjoy visit Zoo Johor thank to Sultan Johor for care the zoo.

Not too big, but more than enough. Can finish within 2 hours. Overall in well maintain and clean. The only thing need to be improved is the accessibility, there is many staircase without accessible walkway, not suitable for wheelchair user.

Can't tell the differences after the renovation. Even so it still had good to had experience with animals. Quite concerning some animals had lonely wihout friends. Anyhow price ticket is cheap.
