Pretty decent food available here. The Nasi Lemak kukus and ikan bakar were tasty! Not a fan of the satay. It was not marinated as how it should be. The satay was basked with some sauce before it went to the grill. The inner meat was bland. Enjoy the vibe with live music. A good place to lepak! You can walk about the night bazar which operates from Tues to Sunday night. There are some nice cafes around the area too!

a perfect place to fill up your stomach after a long walk at the bazaar karat hihuu. lovee the bubur berlauk but the kangkung sambal was a little bit too oily yet still a good combo with ikan masin, lobak masin, ikan bilis and telur masin. nasi ayam geprek salted egg taste good but masinnn sikit. the chicken grill was served hot and delicious but the wedges cheese sauce tasted a bit.. idk just doesn't taste that good. there was a live band performance with all the lagu jiwang and sendu that will make you galau

apparently was just informed and found out from various jb locals as well as grab drivers that im one of the very few chinese who patronise this area lmao. i do know about the racism in msia being more apparent than sg but whattt anyway, so far only this shisha place is my go-to and reminds me of the good old sg shisha in haji lane. have not tried any food here but the drinks are relatively ok, i mean it’s your typical coffeeshop so no complaints there. i absolutely feel disgusted by some of the other jb shisha places opened by indians with their menu stating all the custom mixes with special names and/or premium flavours; really bland and cannot even feel anything despite us changing the coal. and yes, even tried said places with different friend groups and most concluded the same, that this basic flavour place ruled above the crappy so called “premium” flavours in jb at least. service also not bad, sometimes the boss/staff came to ask if we wanted to change the coal, they are honestly decently friendly if you’re not a dirtbag in the first place. other than that, the music is subject to taste. i personally don’t listen to some of what the live band plays so i enjoy sitting closer to the main road. but they do english covers sometimes or upon request as well, so im fine with it. toilet is quite far away too, nearest one seems to be in another restaurant around the corner down the street i have not tried the other shisha store in banafee village(?) will try someday
