Wonderful, peaceful neighborhood with many vintages wooden cottages being preserved by the local government. Almost all of these houses are now being converted into restaurants. It’s s nice & picturesque walk along the river & photo-shooting here before meals.

Great spot littered with bar & food experiences. Beautiful during Cherry blossom season!

Hidden gem in Gion. We stumbled across this bridge and I didn’t realize it was a tourist attraction but I understand why. I recommend picking a restaurant such as Itoh Dining which has views of this location from the restaurant!

First, you should see the movie 'Memoirs of a Geisha.' This bridge was at the movie. After 20 years of the movie, it was so exciting moment for us to see this bridge.
