We really enjoyed our 2 nights there. They gave us a really fair priced safari and the driver has lots of knowledge and good English. the breakfast afterwards was really amazing and a lot. Best we had so far in the trip. On top their boy played a lot with our daughter and the owner was so nice to make her a really beautiful dress. Highly recommendable. Rooms are small but comfy and not humid at least the AC ones.

A lovely family who provided for us last minute without a booking, providing us with dinner and breakfast! We did the safari which was amazing, the tour guide was totally brillant knowing when to rush to catch an elephant sighting and when to go slowing to observe and not scare animals. Constantly getting tips about the whereabouts of elephants we saw all types and sizes! I would recommend staying here, we had a great time, were well looked after, had a comfortable en suite and had a lovely time with the family and daughter who speaks very good English. It’s nice to support the families and independent safari guides!

Great experience with Wildlife Safari House. Extremely friendly people. We did the Udawalawe tour, it was an excellent experience. It lived up to all our expectations. Very knowledgeable guide who knew a lot about elephants but also about many of the other animals at the park. Travelling all the way from Ireland it was great to meet such nice people who made us feel at home. Highly recommend!

The room was really nice, spacious and comfortable. We had the best nap after a rough bus trip from Ella! We booked the safari at the hostel and we can definitely recommend it: honestly you'll have the same experience everywhere and the price was reasonable. The guide took into account that we didn't want to disturb the elephant and kept his distance. Dinner was included , which was plentiful and delicious! Overall, we definitely recommend staying there!
