What a smashing place! Warm reception and shown to our rooms. Good choice of beers all kept very well. Outstanding dinner - two of us shared the lamb rump & veggies (for 2 persons) and another had steak. All cooked perfectly and served with a smile. There were shared bathroom and toilet facilities - made clear in advance - in very good nick. I loved my room with its stag’s head, four-poster bed and good air con.

the food here is absolutely scrumptious and you can tell it’s made with quality ingredients. I go for the burger most times I come here because it’s probably the best burger I’ve ever tasted, however the other dishes are also delicious too! love this place.
