Good Italian food. Definitely book in advance, as it was packed when we went. We got the Penne Carbonara, Chicken Parmi, breadsticks and garlic bread. Garlic bread was good, I wish it had more garlic. The breadsticks were beautiful. The chicken parmi was good for the price ($20 special). Other than that, standard Parmi. The carbonara was alright. It needed more salt.
Attentive services and vibes. Enjoyed the seafood pizza and pork belly bites. Salinity of the chilli mussels too apparent for me. Had much better tiramisu elsewhere. Will try the creme brulee if I ever return.
Had the Grilled Squid, Crab Spaghetti and the Greek Salad. Grilled squid was really fresh and had a great taste. The Crab Spaghetti had the right amount of crab. Was seated outdoors and was a pleasant quiet evening.
Came here the other night it was super cute and got pretty busy. We got the chilli mussels which were very tasty (would come back just for these). The spaghetti marinara was a bit spicier than we anticipated but it was still good. We also got the chicken and mushroom pasta which was very heavy on the mushrooms, but overall very tasty. The pizza was absolutely delicious all the ingredients came together nicely and the crust was light and fluffy!!
We had dinner at Ruocco’s in South Fremantle before our Fremantle Prison Torchlight Tour, and it was the perfect start to the evening! Our group of eight was warmly welcomed on a bustling Friday night, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, with a vibrant buzz that added to the charm of the place. The food was absolutely delicious—classic Italian done right. From the wood-fired pizzas to the house-made pastas, every dish was bursting with flavor. The menu offers a great variety, and everything we ordered was served promptly and with a smile. What stood out the most was the exceptional customer service. Despite the busy night, the staff remained attentive, friendly, and efficient, making us feel truly valued. It’s rare to find a place that combines great food, a fantastic vibe, and outstanding service so seamlessly. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience in Fremantle, I highly recommend Ruocco’s. It's a gem that delivers on all fronts.
