Fab hotel!! All the mod cons (right next to the subway, family mart and McDonald’s if you arrived late / exhausted and don’t know where to eat) … with the most gracious staff! Breakfast had options that you order when you arrive (there’s a timesheet to let you know when you’re likely to queue) as well as little bits of bread foods and nice juices. Staff were more than happy to remove an item then double another one in its place. Bedroom products replaced each day (biscuits, tea, coffee, water - if we used any), air-con worked well and staff always happy to help, smiling every time they saw us in reception. Would love to come again!!

Literally next to the train station and bus stop that can get you anywhere in Kyoto. The rooms were very clean and spacious for japan standards. The bed was comfy and they had google cast TV’s the complimentary drinks of juice and water in the fridge were at hit as well. Would definitely recommend!

This is such a great hotel in Kyoto! The staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast in the hotel is delicious, and the rooms are huge! We really enjoyed our stay here. Our only word of caution: do not do your laundry with the hotel. We wanted to wash our underwear, 2 new shirts, and a new dress and it was $40 USD. We were expecting to pay between 300-500 yen and it was ¥5,500. We are not happy with how expensive the laundry services were.

Great service, large rooms (especially for Japan standards) and very friendly and helpful staff. The location is excellent, right next to the metro and palace grounds. I would definitely stay here again! Best hotel we’ve been to on our Japan trip.

Loved our stay here! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We appreciated the thoughtful touch of complimentary local snacks. The staff at the front desk were friendly and always ready to help. Great location and great service, would definitely stay again!
