We had an incredible stay at Maika Safari Lodge in Udawalawa! The lodge's tranquil atmosphere and stunning views of the surrounding wilderness made for a perfect safari getaway. The rooms were spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds and modern amenities. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the area. The safari experience was unforgettable! Our guide was expertly trained and helped us spot an array of wildlife, including elephants, crocodiles, and numerous bird species. The food at the lodge was delicious, with a range of local and international options. We particularly enjoyed the traditional Sri Lankan dinner. Our accommodation choice was just right. This is the best place to stay for those of you who are coming to Udawalawe for a safari. We got a beautiful new swimming pool, delicious dinner and breakfast here. The best accommodation at a reasonable price.

Great place to stay for a Safari. Customer service is perfect. The Pool is nice to relax in after you got up at 5 for the Safari. Rooms are big and cozy.

We had an amazing stay at Maika Safari. Accommodation was very nice, clean with very comfy bed and all necessary amenities. The swimming pool is amazing. We enjoyed it alot, especially in evenings after safari. Breakfasts and dinners were super delicious with traditional Sri Lankan food, just yammi yammi. Most probably the best that we have tried. We will miss it alot. The hosts are very lovely and helpful people with big souls. They organized everything for us from A to Z. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back here again. I highly recommend this place and thank you very much for all. ❤️?
